NOTICE OF RACE
1.1 The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2025-2028 and the respective class association rules.
1.2 The sailing instructions will consist of the instructions in RRS Appendix S, Standard Sailing instructions, and any supplementary sailing instructions that will be posted on the official notice board located at Corsica River Yacht Club.
1.3 This regatta is designated Category A in accordance with RRS Appendix J1.2(2), ISAF Regulation 20.
2 ADVERTISING
Competitor advertising will not be restricted.
Eligibility: There will be starts for each one-design class if 5 or more boats are registered, if less than 3 boats are registered for a class/division by Oct 1, we reserve the right to move those to a Portsmith class or refund entry.

Required fees are as follows:
Each entry provides to skippers, and crew if appropriate, coffee juice and fruit Saturday and Sunday morning, Eastern shore chicken and crab cake dinner Saturday night, live music included. Camping on club grounds free
Vegetarian dinner available on request at registration.
For two-person dingy $150
For single handed boats $100
Extra dinner $35.00
Schedule of Events: Several races may be held each day at the discretion of the RC.
Fri. Oct 13 1900 - 2000 Competitor check-in
Sat. Oct 12 0800 - 0900 Competitor check-in Coffee or Juice with fruit for competitors
0930 Skippers Meeting
1100 First Warning Signal, up to 5 races per class to follow, conditions permitting, and at RC discretion.
1830 Saturday there will be dinner in the pavilion Eastern shore Chicken and Crabcakes fare.
1900 Live music
Sun. Oct 12 0800 - 0900 Coffee and Juice for competitors
1000 First Warning Signal, up to 4 races per class to follow, conditions permitting, and at RC discretion.
No races will start after 1400 on Sunday
Awards to follow ASAP after scoring is completed on Sunday.
6 MEASUREMENT
Each boat shall comply with their class requirements
7 SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
The sailing instructions will be available after Oct 1 on regatta network or at CRYC club on Saturday
The courses to be sailed will be drop mark Windward/Leeward or Triangular courses as described in the Sailing Instructions. The races will be on Chester or Corsica Rivers.
9 PENALTY SYSTEM
9.1 The Scoring Penalty, RRS 44.3, will apply.
9.2 Decisions of the protest committee will be final as provided in RRS 70.5.
10 SCORING The Low Point Scoring System of Appendix A2 of the RRS will apply except as modified by this: if less than 6 races no score will be excluded.
19 PRIZES
Trophy places per class will be determined based on numbers registered for each class one week prior to the event. The organizing authority will review the registered competitors in each class and decide on the final trophy order and count. General guidelines are as follows: 3 boats, one place awarded. 4 boats, two places awarded. 5+ boats, three places awarded.
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury, or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
Each participating boat shall be insured with valid third-party liability insurance

Free on-site camping.
